I’m a seventh grader and my band teacher wants me to be in Jazz Band next year and he asked if I’d wanna play alto or bari, cause those were the two woodwinds that had open spots. haha. I’m choosing Bari cause it sound so cool!!!

haha i went from playing oboe to playing bari, and im so glad i did. the bari’s hard while you’re learning, but as soon as you can hit all those notes, it’s the greatest thing ever! not really, but pretty close

i completly agree with you , but its not a “noise” its a sound , noise means its annoying lol , but yeah i find alto is as high as it should go , but i prefer bari , but alto is still cool , just can’t stand soprano and higher

hahaha, i remember the first day i played bari. it was hard. it was like 3 years ago. i couldn’t play the lower octive, so i sounded exactly like the alto. a tip- the ambouscure is more loose and drop your jaw more to get them low notes.
