The tone of that 875-EX is very average - It sounds like he’s using a really soft reed. I’m sure that like most Yamahas, it’s ergonomically excellent. Perhaps a different reed/mouthpiece cobination is required to its tone justice.

Weniger should play …
Weniger should play the 475–he does not sound good on the 875EX. His soprano sound is nasally. His intonation is very poor. I’m surprised Yamaha allowed this video to be published.
